When we meet
Worship & Remembrance -- Sunday 9:30-10:30 AM
This is the most important meeting in our common life as a body of believers. See how we meet and why we meet for more details about the worship & remembrance meeting.
After the meeting, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM we informally gather in small groups for fellowship. Coffee is served in the basement.
Family Bible Hour -- Sunday 11:00 AM - 12:00 noon
The family Bible hour is primarily devoted to Bible teaching. Sunday School classes are held during this time for children and teens. Adults hear the ministry of God's word, including doctrinal teaching, encouragement, and exhortation.
Bible Reading -- Sunday 1:15-2:15 PM or 6:00-7:00 PM
During this meeting, we interactively and systematically study Biblical topics or books. See What is a Bible reading? for more information. The Bible reading, which typically lasts an hour, starts at 6:00 PM on most Sundays. However, on Sunday afternoons when we have fellowship dinner (potluck), the Bible reading starts around 1:15. Consult the current bulletin for scheduling details.
Youth Group -- Sunday 7:00-9:00 PM
This meeting is aimed primarily at young people, ages 13 through 18. The first hour is spent in recreation (volleyball, basketball, or other activities), and informal visiting. The second hour is reserved for prayer, and serious study of God's word. The youth group is supervised and guided by adult Christians, but the youth actively participate in all aspects of the meeting, including prayer, and discussion of scriptural topics.
Prayer Meeting -- Wednesday 7:30-8:30 PM
We meet for an hour of prayer. During this time, brothers may also give (usually brief) words of teaching or exhortation as the Holy Spirit leads.
